The slime craze is doing the rounds again in UK schools. Here's an easy recipe using just:
- Kershaw's Laundry Starch
- PVA Glue
- Food Colouring
- Hot Water
Here are the simple steps:
- Pour glue into a bowl
- Add food colouring and stir until consistent and the colour you desire
- Add 6 tablespoons of starch to a bowl of hot water (of slightly lower volume than the glue) and stir until milky and all the starch is dissolved.
- Stir until the mixture gets 'gloopy'
- Knead the mixture by hand until it reaches the desired consistency. If it's too wet and sticky, add a little more of the starch solution; if it's too dry and firm, add some more glue.
Store the slime in a container with a lid (when the kids aren't playing with it).
