Chemicals and the environment

Here at Dri-Pak, we know that many people are becoming increasingly concerned about the effects that household chemicals have on their health and the environment. That’s why we pride ourselves on the fact that our age-old products are as effective as modern chemical cleaners, but do not contain any harmful chemicals, enzymes or phosphates – plus they’re totally biodegradable! So when we say they don’t cost the earth, we really do mean it!

Although you may think that modern cleaners are diluted so pose no danger, what happens when the water has evaporated and those chemicals are left on your work surface....just waiting for that next slice of bread as you make up the lunchtime sandwich?

Want to know more:

There is still much that we don’t know about how long term build up of chemicals in our homes (and bodies) can affect our health. For example, research has suggested a link between household chemicals and asthma (click here for more info: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article405236.ece) There is too much information to put on our website about the subject of cleaning products used in the home, so we have put links to some sites that you may find interesting – along with information on how to minimise your own environmental impact.
